Francis McReary

A corrupt yet determined Liberty City Police Officer, Francis McReary has information about Niko and his past and uses this to blackmail him into getting information on his own corrupt dealings with the criminals of Liberty City.

Brucie Kibbutz

A serious fitness enthusiast, car nut and self appointed VIP, Brucie likes fine women and nice cars and loves the kind of attention he gets from such. He owns a garrage near Roman's, once you get to know him and progress your relationship to a high enough level, he will provide you with free helicopter rides, which could come in useful.

Little Jacob

Grand Theft Auto IV's replacement to Ammunation, Little Jacob is the arms dealer to the entire criminal underworld in Liberty City. Rather than having a store front, he uses the trunk of his car to personally deliver weapons, depending on how good a relationship you have with him. He is also one of few friends Roman has kept, who will introduce you to him as you progress.

Vladimir Glebov

Thinking he is one of the most powerful gangsters in liberty, Vlad is severly mislead. Trying to climb the ladder of the criminal underworld, Vlad runs small protection rackets to try and gain the favor of the more senior criminals based in the city. He is based out of Comrade's in the city of Broker.

Manny Escuela

Hoodlum turned preacher, Manny is working to clean up ths streets of Liberty City, starting with his Recreational Centre in the district of Bohan. Originally from Puerto Rico, he is currently making a documentary about his struggle to change the world, but until its finished, he is working instead as a dance teacher.

Elizabeta Torres

On the rise, Elizabeta is a successful drug dealer, dealing out of Bohan. Knowing that a city wide crackdown on narcotics could be on its way combined with her increasing drug habit, she becomes paranoid and delusional. This makes her a very dangerous but useful woman, who will introduce you to many other figures in Liberty.

Roman Bellic

A resident of Liberty for 15 years, Roman is Niko's cousin who claims to have been living the "American Dream". What we find out is that Roman actually owns a small, run down taxi firm in the district of Bohan which he is hoping Roman will help him with. Under false promises, Niko arrives to help Roman who is struggling with severe debt with some shady characters. It seems Niko will be helping his brother in traditional Grand Theft Auto style; guns blazing.

Niko Bellic

Niko is the protagonist of Grand Theft Auto IV , if you can call him that. Through the four trailers we have been shown it is clear he has a past that we will discover throughout our journey through Liberty City. Rockstar Games have described him as "tough" with him commiting a wide range of crimes back in Eastern Europe. After serving in the Peace Force, he left his native country under the impression he was moving to America to follow the "American Dream" of riches, women and fun, but he is severly mistaken when he is greeted by Roman who has encouraged him to move to Liberty to help him.
